The team at Black Bull Cabin Park needed a large, durable storage solution that could handle a bit of everything, secure space for caravans and boats, plus additional storage for their staff to maintain the park’s 50 to 80 units.With limited land available and the site sitting in a flood overlay, the build required careful planning to make the most of the only space available, while still meeting all permit requirements.
For this project, we designed a Premium Plus Gable Roof Shed measuring 16m x 16m with a 4m wall height and a 10° pitch, providing plenty of clearance for large vehicles and equipment. The structure is built on a 200×100 RHS frame with Z purlins, ensuring exceptional strength and durability for long-term use.
The shed is finished in corrugated Colorbond® sheeting with a fresh, coastal inspired palette: a Surfmist roof, Windspray walls, and Monument gutters. Access points include a 3400H x 4000W roller door and a 2040H x 820W personal access door, both in Monument to match the trim. Inside, the two spacious 8m bays make it easy to separate different types of storage and keep operations organised.
This project came with its challenges, most notably a difficult permit process due to the flood overlay and the tight footprint available on site. Having already built two sheds with us before, the owner trusted our team to find a solution. We managed the permit requirements, adapted the design to suit the site, and kept the build on track to ensure the shed was completed on time.
The finished shed delivers exactly what the customer needed, a versatile, secure, and great-looking storage space ready for both the park’s guests and staff.This marks the third shed we’ve built for Black Bull Cabin Park, and the owner’s feedback says it all: “Great company.
